Mrs. Madeline Puckett Hatcher

Mrs. Madeline Puckett Hatcher, age 82, of Patrick Springs, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at her home. She was born in West Virginia on August 20, 1935 to the late Jerry Puckett and Florence Bowman Puckett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Clarence Hatcher, Jr., a daughter, Janet Elder; one sister, Odessa Turner; and three brothers, Lester, Lawrence, and Jesse Puckett. Mrs. Hatcher was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Gary Hatcher of Patrick Springs, Daryl Hatcher of Martinsville, Lane Hatcher of Stuart; three grandchildren, Jeremy Elder, Jessica Gardner, Sabrina Adkins; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Brother David Freeman and Brother Doug Elder officiating.
