Mrs. Madge Karen Inman Bowman

Mrs. Madge Karen Inman Bowman, age 75, of Mount Airy, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born November 26, 1942 to the late Randall and Maude Madge Cook Inman. She was a lifelong member of Woodville Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lyle Bowman of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Denny Simmons and wife Tammy, and Todd Cecil, two step sons, Scott Bowman and wife Cecelia, Nathan bowman and wife Tina; a step daughter Shelley Senter and husband Roy; fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a sister Patty Sechrist. In addition to her parents Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by a sister, Polly Dollyhite; two brothers, Delmer Inman and Don Inman; a step daughter, Stephanie Bowman. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with services conducted by the Rev. Kevin Kilby. Burial will follow in the Woodville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
