Mrs. Margaret Lucille Hutcherson Foley

Mrs. Margaret Lucille Hutcherson Foley, age 76 of Patrick Springs, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at her home. She was born in Patrick County on March 5, 1936 to the late John W. Hutcherson and Ida Kate Dillion Hutcherson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Foley was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Parnell and one brother, Junior Hutcherson. She was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church.
Mrs. Foley is survived by her husband of 61 years, James Ray Foley of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, James "Bill" and Debbie Foley of Patrick Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Denice and Gary Slate of Kernersville, North Carolina; one grandson, Chris Foley and wife, Amy; six great-grandchildren, Harley, Dakoda, Chasidy, Ethan, Sarah and Kaitlyn; and two sisters, Madeline Walker of Bassett and Mary Ruth Kendrick of Martinsville.
Funeral services for Mrs. Foley will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Bernard Handy officiating. Burial will follow in the New Beginnings Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
