Mrs. Margaret Ann Franklin McCormick

Mrs. Margaret Ann Franklin McCormick, age 69 of Martinsville, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Henry County on November 19, 1937. She was preceded in death by her father, the late Carl Robert. She was a member of Fontaine Baptist Church, and was retired from the Main Office of Bassett Furniture Industries with 32 years of service.
Mrs. McCormick is survived by her husband, Frank B. McCormick of the home; her mother, Louise Prillaman Franklin of Collinsville; and one sister, Nancy Lee Franklin of Seminole Drive, Collinsville.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Harold Draper officiating. Burial will follow in the Mayo Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
