Mrs. Margie H. Ramey

Mrs. Margie Rosella Hawks Ramey, age 85, of Lowgap, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Central Continuing Care. Mrs. Ramey was born in Carroll County on May 30, 1931 to Garley Claude and Dinah Cagle Hawks. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Michael Ramey; a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Joyce Ramey; grandchildren, Brandi Holder and husband Barrett, and Brent Robertson and wife Melissa; great grandchildren, Bristol Holder, Brock Holder, Heather Nichols, and Cody Nichols; and a great-great grandson Bentley Nichols. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ramey was preceded in death by her husband, Lindy Ramey; sisters, Nemo Peele, and Opal Phillips; and brothers, Hobert, Otis, Charles and R. C. Hawks. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 24, 2017, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ewell Vernon and Rev. Verlon Combs. Burial will follow in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Continuing Care, 1287 Newsome St., Mt.
