Mrs. Marie Lewis Creed

Mrs. Ida Marie Lewis Creed, 75, widow of Mr. Johnny Sanford Creed, of Mount Airy passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Surry County on January 15, 1936 to the late Howard William and Vada Frances Johnson Lewis. She was retired from Hamilton Beach Proctor-Silex after 30 years of service and a devoted member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving daughter and son-in-law Shelby and Jeff Boles of Pilot Mountain and two beloved granddaughters, Meagan and husband Ronnie LaBerge of King and Kayla Marie Boles of Pilot Mountain. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 At Piney Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Mark Reece with entombment to follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Piney Grove Baptist Church, 278 Piney Grove Church Road Mount Airy, NC 27030. Moody-Davis Funeral is serving the family.
