Mrs. Marie Vida Thompson

Marie Vida Thompson, age 90, of Ararat VA, died August 14, 2017. She was born in Patrick County on August 19, 1926 and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Nettie Bowman Barnard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lee Thompson; and brothers, Garland and Thomas Barnard.

Surviving is one sister, Icy Niten of Ararat; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Darla Thompson, Jimmy and Marcie Thompson of Ararat, Brian and Crystal Thompson of Dobson, NC; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
