Mrs. Marie Wolf Wood

Mrs. Marie Wolf Wood of San Ramon, California, and formerly of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2007. Mrs. Wood was a teacher at Walt Disney Elementary School; a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and St. Basil High School; and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, San Ramon.
Surviving are her husband, Barry Wood of the home, and formerly of Patrick County; two sons, Jeffrey and Tommy Wood; two sisters, Dorothy Wolf and Mrs. Frank (Jeanne) Matras; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Vincent and Barbara Wolf and Tom and Phyllis Wolf.
A visitation will be held Sunday, November 18, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Whitehall. A funeral mass will be held Monday, November 19 at 10 a.m. in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church in Whitehall. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wood Family Cemetery, Stuart. If desired, memorials may be made to St. Joan of Arch Catholic Church Renovation Fund, 2601 San Ramon Valley Blvd., San Ramon, California 94583. Local arrangements are being handled by Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
