Mrs. Marilyn Margaret Klein Lantz Age 76 of 130 Chandlers Hill Dr. Mt. Airy, NC. passed away Wednesday August 28, 2013 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mrs. Lantz was born June 21, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA. to the late George Edward and Sarah Klein, she was a homemaker who loved her husband, children and grandchildren and always had a kind word for everyone she met. Surviving are her husband Ellis "French" Lantz of the home, one daughter and son-in-law Debora and Scott Hamilton of Clearwater, FA., two sons and daughters-in-law Jack and Dulci Weaver of Mooresville and Tom and Charlene Weaver of Front Royal, VA., six grandchildren Melanie Beck, Amy Warmack, Sarah Weaver, Colby Hamilton, Brandon Weaver and Jessica Weaver, eight great grandchildren and by one sister Patty Lewis of Front Royal, VA. In addition to her parents Mrs. Lantz was preceded in death by one brother George Atwell. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 31, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Chaplain Stewart Roten with burial to follow in the Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night 6 to8 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
