Mrs. Mary Ann Feehan Beavers

Mrs. Mary Ann Feehan Beavers, age 77, of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at her home surrounded by her devoted children. Mrs. Beavers was born in Falls Church, Va. on March 14, 1938 to Joseph A. and Catherine Goodspeed Feehan. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to so many. She will be dearly missed. Surviving is her daughter, Joni Swartz; a son, Jay Beavers and Patricia Draughon; grandchildren, Matt Mitchell and Amber Saunders, Sarah Beavers, Chris Howard and Jessy Howard; great grandchildren, Yi Yi Shoffe, Rynnie Saunders and Skylar Shoffe and a sister, Marie Churchill. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Beavers was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Matthew “Hubbles” Beavers, Jr.; sisters, Louise Brannan and Teresa Gabriletto and brothers, Joseph, Jack and Gerald Feehan. The family would like to express a special thanks to Matt, Pat, Lynn, Stacy and Mary Lou for the care and compassion given to Mrs. Beavers. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends Wednesday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at Pierce Funeral Home in Manassas, VA with the funeral service at noon on Thursday, November 5th. Burial will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens.
