Mrs. Mary Beasley Everett Bowman

Mrs. Mary Beasley Everett Bowman, 69, of Ararat, VA, affectionately known as Mrs. Mary, Momma or Meme to all who knew her, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Surry County on May 11, 1947 to the late Major Monroe Everett and Annie Mae Beasley Everett. She retired from United Plastics and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Claudville, VA. Mrs. Bowman is survived by her daughter, Leann Bowman of the home, her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Tara Bowman; granddaughters, Sharon Bowman, Haley Bowman all of Ararat, VA. In addition of her parents, Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Perry Bowman, Sr. and a son, Malcolm Perry Bowman, Jr.; and a brother, James S. Everett. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church in Claudville, VA with Bro. Chad Harrison and Bro. David Harrelson officiating. Burial will follow at Doe Run Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Trinity Baptist Church on Saturday from 12:30 PM until the time of the service.
