Mrs. Mary Agnes Ross Foley

Mrs. Mary Agnes Ross Foley, age 92, formerly of Fairystone Park Highway, Stuart, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011 in the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on January 16, 1919 to the late Harbour Lee and Alice Susan Pedigo Ross. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Foley was preceded in death by her husband, Roy B. Foley; four sisters, Annie Tatum, Lois Tatum, Senah Coleman and Elizabeth Ross; and three brothers, Charles Ross, Daniel Ross and Mack Ross. She was a long time member of Ross-Harbour United Methodist Church, and she devoted her life to her family, friends and Church.
Mrs. Foley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul B. and Peggy Foley of Stuart; her daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Mike Kodenski of Bassett; her granddaughter and her husband, Laura and Mark Jones of Bassett; three great-grandchildren, Ainsley, Tate and Reese Jones of Bassett; two step-granddaughters and their husbands, Debbie and Ricky Jones, Portland and David Shelton, all of Bassett; three step great-granddaughters, Amber Fizzano, Sarah Shelton and Taylor Shelton; and one great-great-grandson, Rocky Fizzano, her sister-in-law, Dorothy Ross of Stuart; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Foley will be held Monday, February 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Sandy Wright and Rev. Rick Randall officiating. Burial will follow in the Ross-Harbour United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
