Mrs. Mary "Amer" Clark Hubbard

Mrs. Mary "Amer" Clark Hubbard, age 93 of Woolwine passed away Friday at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. She was born on Jan. 22, 1914 in Spray, NC to the late John Obe Clark and Onie Alma Belcher Clark. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Clive Hubbard; one daughter, Nancy Hubbard Duncan; and two sisters, Evna Bryant and Edna Kimble. Mrs. Hubbard was an L.P.N. in the North Carolina area for several years and was a longtime member of the Woolwine United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter and son in law, Mrs. Sunny and Jim Jett of Woolwine; three sons and daughters in law, John Clark and Mollie Hubbard of Preston, George Hubbard of Ridgeway, Michael and Dee Hubbard of Del Rio, TX; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Woolwine United Methodist Church with Pastor Jack Hyde officiating. Burial will follow in the Woolwine Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sunny Jett, 9271 Woolwine Hwy, Woolwine.
