Mrs. Mary Bertha Webb

Mrs. Mary Bertha Hall Webb, age 97 of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Northern Hospital. Mrs. Webb was born in Stokes County on May 17, 1916 to George Washington Hall and Mary Emma Murphy Hall. She was retired from Northern Hospital after twenty three years of service. Mrs. Webb will be remembered for her kind and loving heart. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Patricia Shelton; a grandson, Roger Shelton; sisters, Gracie Strada and Gradie Strada; her devoted guardian, Verona Wright and many friends at Northern Hospital's Skilled Care Unit. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin E. Webb; a son, Homer Shelton; grandsons, Mark Shelton and David Shelton; three sisters and eight brothers. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Skyline Memory Gardens with Rev. Keith Love officiating. The family will begin receiving friends at Moody Funeral Home at 1:00 PM.
