Mrs. Maxine G. Surbaugh

Mrs. Maxine Genevieve Surbaugh, age 89 of The Landmark Center in Stuart passed away Saturday morning at the RJR Patrick County Memorial Hospital. She was born on Dec. 1, 1917 in Hansford, WV to the late O.G. Tony and Mamie Casey Tony. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Surbaugh, Sr., and several brothers and sisters. She was a Postmistress in Hansford, WV.
Surviving are a son, Fred Surbaugh, Jr. of Collinsville; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 6 at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. There will be a graveside service held Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Montgomery Memorial Park in London, WV. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
