Mrs. Maye H. Diesel

Mrs. Maye H. Wherry Diesel, age 93 of Stuart, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 the The Landmark Center in Stuart. She was born in New York on May 24, 1919 to the late John and Mae Webster Wherry. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Deisel was preceded in death by her husband, Edward John Diesel; one son, Edward Diesel, Jr.; and one brother, John "Jack" Wherry.
Mrs. Diesel is survived by one daughter, Mary Schnitzer of Annapolis, MD; four sons, Donald Diesel of Elmira, New York, David Diesel of Binghamton, New York; Robert Diesel and wife, Adah, of Stuart and Raymond Diesel of Raleigh, North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and one sister, Mary Alice Wherry of Florida.
A service will be held Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Our Mother Catholic Church in Horseheads, NY. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, New York.
