Mrs. Medera Marion Fulk

Mrs. Medera Marion Fulk, 85, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Surry County on January 1, 1933 to the late Rev. Carl William Marion and Eva Carrie Overby Marion. She was a home maker and a member of Shining Light Baptist Church. Mrs. Fulk is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Judy and Rev. Larry Crouse; sons and daughter-in-law, Hal Fulk, Jr. and Betty, and David Fulk; grandchildren, Brandon and Tabitha Crouse, Stephanie Fulk, and La’sha and Anthony Sexton; great grandchildren, Emma Grace Crouse, Corbin Crouse, and Aylen Sexton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fulk was preceded in death by her husband, Hal Glenn Fulk; and a brother, Ray William Marion. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Oakdale Cemetery with Rev. Elmo Hiatt officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy from 12:30 PM until the time to leave for the service. The children would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff at Forsyth Palliative Care and the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home for the wonderful care given to their mother during her illness.
