Mrs. Michele Lynn Booker Brown

Mrs. Michele Lynn Booker Brown, 51, of Mt. Airy passed away September 14, 2017 in Mount Airy. Mrs. Brown was born in Surry County, November 9, 1965, the daughter of Ima Lee Martin Booker and the late William “Bill” F. Booker. Mrs. Brown was a wonderful mother, daughter, and friend whose laughter and sense of humor will be deeply missed. She was an avid reader of books and will be remembered for sharing her favorite reads amongst her friends and family. Surviving are her daughter, Anna L. Brown of Durham, NC, and one son, Martin G. Brown of Deep Gap, NC; her mother, Ima Lee Martin Booker of Mount Airy; one sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Walt Bynum of Stantonsburg, NC; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Lynn Booker of Walnut Cove, NC. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Miles E. Brown, Jr. A memorial service will be held Monday, September 18, 2017, 11:00 AM at Bannertown Baptist Church in Mount Airy with Rev. Mickey Cogdill officiating. The Brown family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service. Interment will be private at Skyline Memory Gardens.
