Mrs. Mildred Louise O'Neal Mauldin

Mrs. Mildred Louise O'Neal Mauldin, age 83 of Mt. Airy, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Mauldin was born in Surry County on April 16, 1932 to Jefferson Lewis O'Neal and Edna Tilley O'Neal Clifton. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Surviving is her loving husband, Bobby Mauldin, a daughter and son-in-law, Melonie and Bill Weathers; a son, Michael Mauldin and special friend Lee Welch; grandchildren, Chris Mauldin and wife Misti, Kendra Mauldin and fiancé Jerry Matthews, Jake Weathers and Chase Weathers; great-grandchildren, Cole and Carson Mauldin and a sister, Janie Johnson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mauldin was preceded in death by her brother, James O'Neal. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 20, 2015, at Dover Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplin Mark Brown officiating. There will not be a formal visitation.
