Mrs. Minnie Ada Wade Harbour, age 84 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on June 9, 1928 to the late Green and Era Foley Wade. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harbour was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Harbour; one son, Julian Leon Harbour; three brothers, Joe Lawrence Wade, Walter Wade and Roy Allen Wade; and two sisters, Martha Ann Wade and Helena Martin. She was a member of the Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church, and had retired from Pannill Knitting.
Mrs. Harbour is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Hiatt of Claudville and Mary Ruth Hall of Stuart; two sons, Douglas Harbour of Patrick Springs and David Harbour of Stuart; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ray Wade of Floyd, Jim Wade of Patrick Springs and Larry Wade of Floyd; and one sister, Mary Lou McAlexander of Patrick Springs.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harbour will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Kenneth Terry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements.
