Mrs. Nancy Lee Bonham Hendricks

Mrs. Nancy Lee Bonham Hendricks, age 75 of Dobson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Park surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Grayson County, Virginia on April 18, 1941 to the late Kermit and Bessie Brooks Bonham. Mrs. Hendricks was employed by Colonial Care as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Survivors include two daughters, Brenda H. Bennett of Mount Airy and Sandy M. Hendricks of Galax, Virginia; a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Sandy Hendricks of Dobson; nine beloved grandchildren, Justin Bennett, Nathan Marion, Stevie Marion, Amber Marion, Amanda Marion, Zach Watson, Zane Watson, Samantha Hendricks and Harvey Hendricks, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Samuel and Maddie Jarvis; a brother, Sonny Bonham of PA; two half-sisters, Mary Ann Fuller and Ethel “Susie” Zornes; and a half-brother, James “Pete” Bonham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Gene Hendricks and a sister, Betty Hess. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church cemetery by the Rev. Tommy Slate. There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the family.
