Mrs. Nancy Joan Pell Parker

Mrs. Nancy Joan Pell Parker, 58, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Surry County on June 7, 1954 to the late Elbert and Katherine Holyfield Pell. Mrs. Parker worked at Quality Mills before becoming disabled and was a member of Mt. Airy Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her husband, Nelson Parker of the home; a sister and brother-in-law, Karen Lynn and Jerry Lawson of Mt. Airy; three brothers and sister-in-laws, Steve and Carol Pell of Dobson, Rickie and Tammy, Richard and Peggy Pell all of Mt. Airy, several nieces and nephews; her special pet, Max. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Loman officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt.
