Mrs. Naomi Edwards Lindsay

Mrs. Naomi Edwards Lindsay, 54 of Lambsburg, VA passed away at North Carolina Baptist Hospital Wednesday, July 18, 2012. She was born on June 16, 1958 to the late Elder Alex and Annie Edwards. She was a site manager for Sunstates Security at the Turbocare/Leistritz site and she also worked as a volunteer EMT. Mrs. Lindsay had a warm heart, always placing the needs of others before herself. She dedicated her life to helping others, even in death she saved lives through the gift of organ donation. She is survived by her husband, Don Stuart Lindsay; daughters and "favorite" son-in-law, Misty and Steven Snow, Kristen Lindsay; sons, Christopher Lindsay, Patrick Lindsay and Kris Austin; honorary daughters, Kourtney Austin, Maria Noyola and Felipa Sandoval; honorary sons, Jimmy Bryant and Brian Upchurch. Mrs. Lindsay was looking forward to being a grandmother to Miley and Andrew. Also, surviving are sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia Galyean, Hattie and James Galyean, Mary and Haywood McBride and Lucy and Steve Lindsay; brothers, David and Wilma Edwards, Samuel and Merkie Edwards, Bruce and Letty Edwards, J.J. Edwards and George Edwards; a sister-in-law, Carla Edwards; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lindsay was preceded in death by four brothers, Isaac, John, Tommy and Daniel Edwards. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church with Elder David Edwards, Elder V.J. Hawks, Elder Samuel Edwards and Elder Lacy Gates officiating.Burial will follow in the Lindsay Family Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 6:00 until. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
