Mrs. Nellie Faye Holt

Mrs. Nellie Faye Holt, 80 of Stuart, passed away Friday morning at her home. She was born in Patrick County on March 27, 1931 to the late Emmitt George East and Mary Ethel Stephens East. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; William "Bill" Bernard Holt, an infant daughter Paige Holt, two brothers, James Ausby East and Carlis East. She had retired from United Elastic Corp. and was of the Protestant faith.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Becky Nowlin of Stuart and Mrs. Brenda Hill of Claudville, VA; a brother, Mr. Marvin East of Ridgeway, VA and a special nephew, Landon Nowlin of Stuart.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 2:00pm at Moody Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Churchwell officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 22099 Jeb Stuart Hwy., Stuart, VA 24171.
