Mrs. Nonnie Beatrice Inman Arrington

Mrs. Nonnie Beatrice Inman Arrington, age 92, of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Arrington was born in Surry County to Millard and Kizzie Haymore Inman. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends. Surviving is her devoted husband of 72 years, Walter Arrington; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Oliver Vernon; a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Jackie Arrington; grandchildren, Dr. Jeffery Blackmon, Jennifer Wright and Emily Leftwich; great grandchildren, Jackson and Amelia Blackmon and Luke and Charlotte Wright; a sister, Kathleen Davis; a brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Susie Inman and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Arrington was preceded in death by one sister and six brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Frank Harmon and Rev. Dennis Arrington. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Gentiva Health, Mountain Valley Hospice, Northern Hospital and Dr. Dodd for the special care given to Mrs. Arrington during her illness.
