Mrs. Norma Bowen Jones

Mrs. Norma Bowen Jones, 69, of Dobson passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Monday August 26, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia on October 4, 1943 to Emelia Voight Bowen and the late Norman Bowen. Mrs. Jones was retired from the Lantern Restaurant, where she worked as the cook for more than thirty years. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted children, Tracey and husband Michael McDonald of Katy, Texas, Chris Reynolds of Mount Airy and David Hall and fiancé Teresa Simpson of Siloam; her mother, Emelia "Bootsie" Voight Bowen of Virginia Beach and five beloved grandchildren. As Norma requested, there will be no formal services. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Jones family.
