Mrs. Norma Paige Journey Montgomery

Mrs. Norma Paige Journey Montgomery Age 83 of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday February 11, 2016 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy. Mrs. Montgomery was born January 21, 1933 in Surry County to the late Coy and Ethel Moser Journey; she was retired from the Carroll County Schools as a Cafeteria worker and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are one daughter Sara E. Montgomery of Mt. Airy, one sister Betty J. Pack of Mt. Airy and a special niece Ginger Lopez of Mt. Airy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Montgomery and a sister, Jane Journey. Funeral services will be held Sunday February 14, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Richie Lopez with burial to follow in the Mount Bethel Moravian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until time for the service.
