Mrs. Norma Faye McHone Tickle

Mrs. Norma Faye McHone Tickle, age 69 of Mt. Airy, wife of Mr. Oliver Tickle, passed away Wednesday, September 06, 2006 at Universal Healthcare in King. Mrs. Tickle was born in Surry County, January 21, 1937 to Howard Taft and Elsie Moser McHone. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a retired nursing assistant with Northern Hospital. Surviving are her devoted husband, Oliver Tickle of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Donna Tickle of Winston-Salem; Brian and Regina Tickle of Christiansburg, VA; five grandchildren; and a brother Bob McHone of Winston-Salem. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tickle was preceded in death by a brother, Kelly McHone. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 8, 2006 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. Linda Green. Burial will follow in Union Hill Friends Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at the funeral home.
