Mrs. Ona Mae Jones Sechrist

Mrs. Ona Mae Jones Sechrist, age 82, of Cana, passed away Tuesday, December 06, 2016, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Sechrist was born in Carroll County on April 10, 1934 to Christopher “Ed” Columbus Jones and Etta Frances Hawks Jones. She retired from Spencer’s and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving is her husband, Jimmy Sechrist; sons, Jimmy Marvin Sechrist, and Freddie Lee Sechrist; a special nephew, Posey Clayton Jones and wife Kathy and a special niece, Mandi Patton and husband John. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sechrist was preceded in death by a sisters, Ruth Jones and Mary Lou Jones; brothers, Clinton Jones, Marvin Jones and Arlis Jones. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at A.L. Jones Family Cemetery with Rev. Albert Everidge officiating.
