Mrs. Pamela Lynne Wood Terry

Mrs. Pamela Lynne Wood Terry, age 60 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina. She was born in Patrick County on February 17, 1952 to the late Esmond Lee and Ruby Cook Wood. She was a teacher at Meadows of Dan Elementary School for over 17 years, teaching mostly in the first grade, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.
Mrs. Terry is survived by her husband of 41 years, Roger Terry of the home; two daughters and son-in-law, Christy and Michael Greco of Conover, North Carolina and Kimberly Terry of Roanoke; two grandsons, Brandon and Andrew Greco; a sister, Pat Wood of Stuart, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Terry will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at New Bell Spur Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Alan Terry, Elder Tim McGrady and Elder Edward Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church, and at other times at the home.
