Mrs. Patricia Hazelwood Resendiz

Mrs. Patricia Hazelwood Resendiz, age 61, of Cana, VA passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at her home. She was born in Guilford Co., NC on December 4, 1956 to the late Richard and Mary Kate Hazelwood. She was a disabled seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Hazelwood. Surviving are her husband, Mario Resendiz of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Helen Resendiz, Mary Ann Stewart, Deborah Gonzalez, Stephanie and Richard Ables; sons and daughter-in-law, Gregory Lee King Jr. and wife, Allyson, Mario Alberto Resendiz; twenty grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Johnnie Lynn Guynn and David Guynn; brother and sister-in-law, Danny Michael and Christi Hazelwood. A family conducted memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Salvation Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry King conducting. There will be no formal services held at Moody-Davis Funeral Home.
