Mrs. Patsy Joy Mayes Creasey

Mrs. Patsy Joy Mayes Creasey, age 64, of Mount Airy, passed away on Monday, April 02, 2018 at Central Continuing Care in Mount Airy. She was born on June 6, 1953 to the late Thad Monroe and Annie Irene Gordon Mayes. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memories are her husband: Harold Creasey of the home, a daughter, Jennifer Creasey; a son and daughter-in-law Brian and Sandra Creasey; grandchild, Shannon Willard; great-grandchildren, Ryker and Abrianna; a sister, Hilda Jones; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Robert Mayes, Thad (TJ) Mayes Jr and wife Audrey, Miles (Mitch) Mayes and wife Janice; a sister-in-law, Earla Mayes as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mrs. Creasey was preceded in death by a brother; Jacob Mayes; a sister Jeanette Mayes Cranfill. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined by the family. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8pm at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
