Mrs. Paula Royall Collins

Mrs. Paula Royall Collins, age 67, of Elkin, NC passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born in Surry County on May 26, 1950 to the late Ray and Walsie Holbrook Royall. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Cross Baptist Church. Surviving are her loving husband, of forty four years, Mike Collins of the home; sister, Carolyn Connon of Roaring River; niece, Tammy Sauls of Winston-Salem; nephew, Ronnie Reynolds of Roaring River; cousin and her husband, Patty and Dale Lyons of Elkin; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Simmons of Yadkinville and Bonnie Collins and her husband, Max Fur of Mountain Park. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday April 18, 2018 in the Chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Union Cross Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tom Parker, Rev. Tim Burton and Rev. Bill Faw will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until the time of her service at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Union Cross Baptist Church C/O Virginia Stroud 1993 Twin Oaks Rd. Elkin, NC 28621. The family would like to give a special thanks for the prayers, calls, meals, and all acts of kindness, and the love and care given to Paula from Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, Elkin Dialysis Clinic, YVEDDI Transportation, and the Wake Forest Baptist Health 7th Floor CCU.
