Mrs. Pauline Frances Edwards McMickle

Mrs. Pauline Frances Edwards McMickle, 95, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday, September 06, 2017 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Surry County on June 6, 1922 to the late Frank and Bertha Johnson Edwards. Mrs. McMickle was retired from Lynn Hosiery and was a member of Mt. Airy First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Mike Hiatt, Ruth and Bill Burcham, Frances and Jerry Jasinski; a son and daughter-in-law, Wade and Patricia McMickle; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and two on the way; three step grandchildren; six step great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McMickle was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ernest McMickle; a sister, Betty Edwards; two brothers, Melvin and Walter Edwards. A graveside service will be held Friday, September, 8, 2017 at 4:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens with the Rev. Brian Frazier officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 2:30 until 3:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
