Mrs. Peggy Moser Burchette, 54, of Dobson passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Surry County on February 10, 1958 to Ella Moser and the late Oliver Eugene Moser. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years, Duane Burchette of the home; a daughter, Dena Burchette Gertsch of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Duane and Tina Murphy Burchette; grandchildren, Statzer Burchette, Nathan Bond, Destiny Burchette, Adam Burchette and AllyAnn Gertsch all of the home; Jessica Donathan of Dobson, Brandy Axom and Lori Murphy; a great-granddaughter, Mercedes Childress; her mother, Ella Moser; five brothers and sisters-in-law Ronald and Annette Moser, Gary and Kathy Moser, David and Debbie Moser, Bobby and Renee Moser and James and Marlene Moser; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Jeff Tate and Mary and Phil Lawson and several nieces and nephews; special friends, Lisa Donathan, Gwynn Eaton, Millie Mayes and Howard Brim; very special friend Barbara Kirk. In addition to her father, Mrs. Burchette was preceded in death by a son, Trevor Adam Burchette and her grandmother, Granny Lula Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at New Beginning Baptist Church by Rev. Donnie Holyfield and Ricky Martin with burial to follow beside her beloved son. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 6 to 8 pm and other times at her home.
