Mrs. Peggy Ann Nixon Miller

Peggy Ann Nixon Miller of Thurmond, NC was born September 6, 1935 and passed away February 24, 2018. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who cherished spending time with the people she loved and is now reunited with her late husband of 62 years, Dan Miller.

Peggy is survived by her children: Reginia Miller Wolfe (David) of Thurmond, NC and Dennis Miller (Patti) of Thurmond, NC; grandchildren: Candice Dimmette of Hilton Head Island, SC, Laura Hazelwood (Josh) of Dobson, NC, Olivia Miller of Thurmond, NC, Wendi Wolfe of Roaring Gap, NC, Wanda Bingaman (Rich) of Greenville, NC, and Erin Kurland (Josh) of Mt. Airy, MD; great-grandchildren: Brady Hazelwood, Ryan Bingaman, Bryson Bingaman, Marley Wolfe, and Nixon Kurland; sisters: Helen Nixon (Larry) of McLeansville, NC, ReElla Ball of State Road, NC, Mary Lou Sidden of State Road, NC, and Emelene Miller of Elkin, NC; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins she loved and adored. She is proceeded in death by her parents: Claude Manuel and Lillian Lewis Nixon, Walter James and Helen Burcham Miller; brothers and sisters: Edworth Nixon (Rosalina), Donna Nixon, Jim Miller (Lois), Fred Sidden, Donald Miller, Vernon Ball.

There will be a memorial service 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Service with Wanda Skilbred officiating. The visitation will follow after the memorial service.
