Mrs. Penny Gail Lowe Ramey

Mrs. Penny Gail Lowe Ramey, 55 of Lowgap passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family at Forsyth Medical Center on Thursday, January 15, 2015. She was born in Surry County on June 27, 1959 to the late Alvin Alonzo and Betty Rae Hodges Lowe. Mrs. Ramey was employed as a registered nurse at Hugh Chatham Hospital where she shared her compassion and care for all she met. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, always placing the care of others before her own. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Jimmy Ray Ramey; daughter, as well as her best friend and son-in-law, Brandy and Jason Cornett; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Iris Ramey; four precious grandchildren, "Memaw's Angels", Mason Cornett, Karlee Cornett, Bryer Ramey and Jake Ramey; a sister, Janie Hawks; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Pat Lowe and Roger and Vivian Lowe; several aunts and uncles and many nieces, nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 19, 2015 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Spurlin officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Baptist Church.
