Mrs. Pernie Thomas Bowman

Mrs. Pernie Thomas Bowman age 96 of Dry Fork, VA and formerly of Patrick
County, VA passed away Saturday July 10, 2010 at her son's home. She was born on February 20, 1914 in Patrick County to the late Posey Allen and Rosa Smart Thomas. Mrs. Bowman was also preceded in death by her husband; Wiley P. Bowman, a daughter; Velma Lankford, four sons; Claude, Eugene, Larry and Ronnie Bowman, two sisters; Vernice Rakes and Verda Hall and one brother; Melvin Thomas.
Surviving Mrs. Bowman are a son and daughter-in-law; James and Allison Bowman of Dry Fork, VA, several grandchildren and a sister; Vera Thomas.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bowman will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday July 13, 2010 at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with the Rev. Bennie Bowman officiating. Burial will be at the Bowman Family Cemetery.
