Mrs. Rachel Hubbard Pendleton

Mrs. Rachel Hubbard Pendleton, age 66 of Reidsville, North Carolina, and formerly of Patrick County, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Hospice of Rockingham County in Wentworth, North Carolina. She was born in Patrick County on May 22, 1944 to the late Elijah Lee and Clemmie Pendleton Hubbard. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pendleton was preceded in death by two brothers, Eldon and Harold Hubbard. She had worked for almost 40 years at Unify in Reidsville.
Mrs. Pendleton is survived by her husband of 46 years, Leon Pendleton of the home; one sister, Annette Rorrer of Stuart; one brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Helen Hubbard, of Stuart; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pendleton will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Jacks Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Jessup and Elder David Kamoda officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.
