Mrs. Reba Fulk Williamson, age 96 of Elkin passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016. She was born in Surry County on October 10, 1920 to the late Jesse and Myrtle Cockerham Fulk. Mrs. Williamson was a retired Substitute Teacher for both Surry and Stokes County and a dedicated member of Salem Fork Christian Church, and was so proud to be the oldest member, as long as her health permitted. Survivors include her devoted son and daughter-in-law, Kim and Carolyn Williamson of Elkin; her beloved grandchildren and spouses, Seth and Mary Ann Williamson, Eric and Paige Williamson, Josh and Christina Williamson, Emily and Tracy Lyon, and Jesse Williamson; her great-grandchildren, Cash Williamson, Kasey and Katie Lyon, Lucas Sparks, Guthry Lu “Sweetie Pie” Williamson, Tread Williamson and Judson Williamson; a sister, Faye Moser; special niece and nephew John D. Moser and Jean Lee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, James Alvin Williamson, her beloved son Curtis Williamson; a brother L. G. “Judge” Fulk and a brother-in-law, Morris Moser; . Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Salem Fork Christian Church by Rev. Austin Caviness and Chaplain Stewart Roten with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Moody-Davis Funeral Home where her body will remain until time to be taken to the church for the service. She loved each and every one involved in her care along with her many devoted friends.
