Mrs. Rebecca Ann Branch Minor

Mrs. Rebecca Ann Branch Minor, age 72, of Mt, Airy, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017, at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Minor was born in Surry County on March 6, 1944 to Monroe and Alice Nichols Branch. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends. Surviving is her devoted husband, Frank Minor; a daughter and son-in-law, Fonda and Tony Hall; a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Kimberly Minor; grandchildren, Tyler Minor (Ashlee Huybert); Mae Minor and Matthew Hall (Savannah Collins); a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Junior Cook; a brother and sisters-in-law, Rex and Eloise Branch and Jean Branch. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Minor was preceded in death by an infant sister, Juanita Branch and a brother Fred Branch. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Highland Park Baptist Church by Dr. Darrell Tate. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and staff at the Joan & Howard Woltz for the exceptional care given to Mrs. Minor during her stay there.
