Mrs. Rebecca Lue Pack, age 42 of Hamptonville, NC passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at her residence. She was born October 22, 1973 in Rhode Island to the late Fred Thomas Willard and Heidi Taylor Willard. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Matthew Childress; sisters Cathey Pack, Zena Johnson, and Patricia Golding; brothers Fred T. Willard, Jr., Loyd Willard, Sr, and Alfred Willard; and a special friend, Steven Spencer; and several nieces and nephews and several brothers and sisters in law. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Childress and her sister, Betty Burnett. Visitation will be Friday, September 16, 2016 from 1-3 PM at Maple Springs Baptist Church. A graveside Service will follow at 3:00 PM with Reverend Carl Taylor officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Moody-Davis Funeral Service, PO Box 295, Dobson, NC 27017 to help with final expenses.
