Mrs. Remona Meadows

Mrs. Remona Shrewsbury Meadows, 78, of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Mercer County, WV on August 27, 1938 to the late Howard and Zida Basham Shrewsbury. Mrs. Meadows was a loving wife; mother; and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Claude Meadows; a daughter, Claudeane Sink; sons, Don Meadows and wife, Tammy, Joe Meadows, and wife, Joyce, Grayson Meadows and wife, Sonya; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; a sister, Dona Harmon and husband, Sonny. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Meadows was preceded in death by brothers, Howard Shrewsbury, Jr., Charles, Ronnie, Homer and Burlin Shrewsbury. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Blue Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Butch Spurlin and Rev. Bill Spurlin officiating.
