Mrs. Rosebud M. Adams

Mrs. Rosebud M. Adams, age 90 of Stuart passed away Thursday at the Stanleytown Health Care Center. She was born on April 9, 1916 to the late Charlie and Queenie Custer Morrison. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Loyd Adams; one son, Junior Adams; four grandsons, Ken Adams, James Bradley Adams, James Brian Adams, Guy Edward Adams; and several brothers and sisters. She was a member of Ross Harbour United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters and sons in law, Marcell and Glenn Handy, Darnell and Harless Moran, and Christine and Leon Howell all of Stuart; two sons and daughters in law, Rev. Calvin and Mary Ann Adams of Eden, NC, Randolph and Linda Adams of Bassett; 16 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild; 25 great grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a half sister, Hattie Gay Vaughn of Collinsville.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 21, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Jack Hyde officiating. Burial will follow in the Ross Harbour United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
