Mrs. Ruby Mae Edwards Bingman

Mrs. Ruby Mae Edwards Bingman, age 78 of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Twelve Oaks. Mrs. Bingman was born in Forsyth County on March 21, 1937 to the late Howard and Della Bowman Edwards. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a daughters and son-in-law, Teresa and Jerry Caudle and Carolyn Moore all of Mt. Airy, three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Bingman of Mt. Airy, Timmy Bingman and Ronald and Cindy Bingman all of Ararat, NC., eight grandchildren Donald Bingman, Jr., Chris Bingman, Bobby Koehler, Josh Caudle, Heather Eames, Gabriel Ayers, Ashley Bingman and R. J. Bingman, twelve great grandchildren, three sisters Mildred Horton, Helen Pippin and Brenda Parker all of Mt. Airy and by two brothers Troy Edwards and Dean Edwards all of Mt. Airy. In addition to her parents Mrs. Bingman was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Bingman and by four brothers Will Edwards, Clarence Edwards, Larry Edwards and Wayne Edwards. Funeral services will be held at Wednesday October 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Ronald Bingman and Rev. Stanley Sechrist. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night 6 to 8 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Moody Funeral Services to assist with the funeral expenses.
