Mrs. Ruby Etta Cloud Culler

Mrs. Ruby Etta Cloud Culler Age 85 of Mt. Airy wife of the late Winfred M. Culler for 58 years, passed away Monday February 22, 2016 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mrs. Culler was born February5, 1931 in Carroll County, to the late Preston Lee and Nettie Gray Sowers Cloud, she was retired as the Manager for Cato’s for many years; was the past President of the Mayberry Mall Merchants Association and was a member of Welcome Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law Debbie and Ronnie Shelton of Mt. Airy and Becky and Justin Wells of West Jefferson, three sons and daughters-in-law Danny and Mary Alice Culler of Dobson, Dennis and Penny Culler and Dean and Laurie Culler all of Mt. Airy, thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and by one sister “and special caregiver” Inez Bowman of Hillsville. In addition to her parents and her husband Mrs. Culler was preceded in death by four brothers Mason, Lee, Rufus and Kermit Cloud. Funeral services will be held Thursday February 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Danny Culler with burial to follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:30 AM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care 401 Technology Lane Suite 200 Mt. Airy, NC. 27030.
