Mrs. Ruby Jean Eastridge

Mrs. Ruby Jean Eastridge, age 51 of Meadows of Dan passed away Monday morning at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax. She was born in Patrick County on July 17, 1959 to the late William Curtis Bowman and Annice Ruth Bowman. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Connie, Becky, and Essie Mae Bowman; two infant sisters; and one infant brother. She was most recently employed with Team Nurse.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Eastridge of the home; two sons and daughter in law, Joey and Amy Maroni of Meadows of Dan, Anthony Maroni of Meadows of Dan; 2 grandchildren; seven brothers, Leonard Bowman of Stuart, Melvin Bowman of Claudville, Kenneth Bowman of Claudville, Joey Walker of Reidsville, NC, Chris Walker of Reidsville, NC, Brandon Bowman of Stuart, Matthew Bowman of Meadows of Dan; and four sisters, Judy Land of Mayodan, NC, Carolyn Bowman of Claudville, Kathy Dean of Mayodan, NC and Charlene Briggs of Sandy Ridge, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Mary Horner Walker Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Bernard Handy officiating. The family will receive friends at 12:00 noon until time to proceed to the cemetery at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
