Mrs. Ruth Faye Bullens Jarnagin

Mrs. Ruth Faye Bullens Jarnagin, age 87 of Stuart, and formerly of Bluff City, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. She was born in Roane County, Tennessee on August 31, 1920 to the late Jackson and Elsie Cash Bullens. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jarnagin was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lester Jarnagin; a son, Thomas Jack Jarnagin; two sisters and two half-brothers. She attended Fairystone Baptist Church, and was a retired bank teller.
Mrs. Jarnagin is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria Angie Dunn and James T. Dunn, III of Stuart, Gail McLean of Denham Springs, Louisiana and Darlene and Bill Raines of Lincoln, Montana; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Reese Shipley of San Diego, California and Jackie Fritz of Dillon, South Carolina.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jarnagin will be held Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Jim Dunn officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Mountain Home National Cemetery in Tennessee. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
