Mrs. Ruth Inman Pack

Mrs. Ruth Inman Pack, age 86 of Ararat passed away Sunday at Pioneer Health Services of Patrick County. She was born on Sept. 2, 1925 in Patrick County to the late Jim and Jenny Willard Inman. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Pack, Sr.; a son, Donald Ray Pack; three sisters, Lois Floyd, Iva Collins, Mary Lou Robertson; and two brothers, Curtis and Ernest Inman. Mrs. Pack retired from Bassett-Walker and attended Danube Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter and son in law, Shirley and Gurney Royall of Stuart; one son and daughter in law, LeRoy and Darlene Pack, Jr. of Ararat; one granddaughter, Jeannie Harding and husband, Mark; three great grandchildren, Seth, Jonathan, and Andrew Harding; two sisters, Sally Rorrer and Annie Goode both of Woolwine; one brother, James Inman of Martinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Revs. Fred Gilley and Paul Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
