Mrs. Ruth Edna Pilson Tatum

Mrs. Ruth Edna Pilson Tatum, age 82 of Gaston, South Carolina, and formerly of Patrick County, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009 at her home. She was born in Patrick County on October 24, 1926 to the late Riley and Hattie Goode Pilson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tatum was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Tatum. She was a member of West Liberty Church.
Mrs. Tatum is survived by one brother, William O. Pilson of Yonkers, New York; two sisters, Judy Nowlin of Mount Vernon, New York and Mary King of Stuart; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tatum will be held Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Bennie Redd officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens.
